The Feilding & Districts Community Archive aims to preserve and store the history of our area. The Archive contains material from many local clubs and organisations, both current and defunct, providing a wonderful insight into our District's past. There are also significant personal collections containing documents and photographs depicting local history and, in particular, material donated or gathered for the 1974 Centennial Celebrations of the founding of Manchester Block and the Feilding Borough Council Centenary in 1981.

The archive is run totally by volunteers, and is open for contributions or research each Thursday from 10.00am to 4.00pm, or at other times by appointment, for:

* Computer assisted research facility and historical publications

* Extensive photographic collection of Feilding and Districts, people and events

* Private papers, clubs and society records

You can find us at the Coach House Museum, 127 South Street, Feilding.
